Every new year, you enter into an introspective state thinking about the previous year of your life, love, career, friends, and family. You come out of this resolving to improve your life in some way.
We recognise that there are gaps we wish to fill in order to feel fulfilled and whole. Whether it is excercising more, earning more money, climbing the career ladder, or being a better friend, the resolutions tend to be recurring with self improvement as a major prevalent theme.
However, these resolutions become unmet resolutions because we don't understand the cause and motivations within ourselves. Figuring out how and why we don't meet our own expectations and improvements is important to actually achieving our self development goals.
CAE's Counselling Psychology programmes will give you the skills and knowledge to help with your self improvement or to help someone else with their improvements. The Programmes cover a range of theoretical, analytical, conceptual and function skills to prepare you to work effectively as a counsellor.
